| James C. “Jim” Gardner - Chairman |

Gov. Pat McCrory appointed Jim Gardner to serve as chairman of the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission in February 2013.
Chairman Gardner has served as chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, as a United States Congressman from Eastern North Carolina and as Lt. Governor of North Carolina. He also was a two-time candidate for Governor.
He was co-founder and executive vice president of Hardee’s Food Systems, Inc. and vice president of Gardner Dairy Products. He is a military veteran with service in the United States Army.
Chairman Gardner is a native and current resident of Rocky Mount. He was educated in public schools of Rocky Mount and at North Carolina State University. He and his wife Marie have three children and nine grandchildren.

Joel Keith was named to the state’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission by Gov. Pat McCrory in February 2013.
Commissioner Keith is chief of police for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and is auxiliary agent for the Wake County ABC Board. He has served as president of the North Carolina Association of ABC Boards and served as co-chair of their legislative committee.
He is retired chief of police for the Wake County ABC and is former Wake Forest police chief.
Commissioner Keith is a graduate of the Institute of Government's Police Executive Development Program, Saint Augustine's College, Nash Technical College and the Raleigh Police Academy.
He is a resident of Wake Forest.

Greensboro resident Kevin Green was named to the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission by Gov. Pat McCrory in February 2013.
Commissioner Green is vice chairman of the Friends of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Foundation and serves on the boards of the Greensboro Sports Council and of the Barnabas Network. He is past chairman of the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Commission and also is past chairman of the Greensboro Coliseum War Memorial Commission.
He is a Realtor, broker with Prudential Yost & Little Realty of Greensboro. He has served in leadership roles with the North Carolina Association of Realtors and with the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association. He entered the real estate industry in 1985 after serving for seven years as assistant golf professional at Greensboro Country Club.
