Application submission information

Applications for one-time permits are accepted online, by mail or in person at the ABC Commission.  Retail and Commercial permit applications are only accepted via mail or in person at the ABC Commission. Prior to submitting your application, please make copies of all of your documents so that you have a record in case they are lost in transit. The Commission is not responsible for documentation that have not been received. Once received by the Commission, typical processing time is 7 to 10 days. 

 

To submit an application packet in person: 

Leave your completed permit application packet with the receptionist or place it in the drop box at the front of the ABC Commission: 400 East Tryon Road, Raleigh, NC 27610

If you are sending the application packet via the US Postal Service (regular mail), then mail to:
